The use of hot press in furniture industry
With the reduction of wood resources, especially precious wood resources, more and more use of thin wood or stickers on the furniture isobaric paste process, as an important equipment of the pressing process, hot press is often used in furniture manufacturing for veneering and pressing molding parts, its production capacity and technical performance restrict the production scale of enterprises and product quality. In order to better understand and choose the hot press, this paper takes the veneer hot press often used in the furniture industry as an example to introduce the press.
The veneer hot press used in the furniture industry is basically adapted to the size of the wood-based panel (1220×2440mm), and the surface pressure is usually 02~0.4MPa, and the corresponding total pressure is 120t. In addition to the main technical parameters of the hot press plate size, total pressure, number of layers, plate surface pressure and so on, there are other technical parameters such as opening, closing time, heating temperature and productivity, which should be determined according to different process requirements. The working process of the hot press can be divided into five processes: closing, boosting, maintaining, relieving and decreasing. The main machine of the press can be divided into three parts from the realization of the function: the heating system (to provide heat source), the hydraulic system (to provide pressure and control the action of the press) and the press body (frame, control part).
