Melamine hot press veneer working principle

May 24, 2024

The working principle of melamine hot press veneer mainly includes:

1. Melamine composite board feed. The melamine composite plate is placed on the feeding table, and the plate is sent to the hot pressing area through the feeding roller.

2. Fixed length cut. Before entering the hot pressing area, the melamine composite board is cut into the specified size of the paste panel by a fixed length cutter.

3. Preheat and soften. The cut panel is preheated to the specified temperature by infrared preheater to soften the surface of the panel to a suitable fit state.

4. Hot melt bonding. The preheated and softened panel and substrate are thermally fused under the action of high temperature and high pressure in the hot pressing zone until the bonding is firm.

5. Type K exercise. The top cover of the hot pressing zone can be used for K-opening and closing, for placing or pushing out the panel, and applying pressure on closing for hot melt bonding.

6. Bottom pressure device. A bottom pressure device is provided at the bottom of the hot pressing zone to provide the bottom pressure in the hot pressing zone and apply pressure together with the top cover for fitting.

7. Cooling and curing. The adhesive panel is pushed out from the hot pressing area and cooled quickly with cold air on the cooling line to harden and solidify the hot melt adhesive and enhance the bonding strength.

8. Trimming and sawing. The cooled panel is sent to the trimming and cutting machine, and the excess edge is sawed and polished to remove, and repaired to the specified size to meet the requirements of the finished product.

9. Finished product discharge. The finished melamine laminate after trimming is sent out through the discharge device for subsequent packaging and storage.

Therefore, the melamine hot press veneer is to paste the prefabricated melamine composite board on the surface of the substrate through the processes of fixed-length cutting, preheating and softening, hot melt bonding and cooling and curing, and then trim and shape by the trimming and cutting machine to produce the melamine veneer with accurate size and high strength, and achieve high production capacity with efficient continuous production. It is widely used in the production of architectural decorative panels.
